Mystic Garden Club is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1924 and encourages a love of gardening, environmental stewardship and promotes civic beautification.  Members of the Mystic Garden Club contribute to the local community in numerous ways including; community plantings, most notably maintaining the planter boxes in downtown Mystic, giving scholarships to local students, and providing grants to local institutions. Mystic Garden Club has given away over $450,000 since 1979, to various local organizations, including, The Denison Society, Lower Mystic Cemetery, Mystic Arts Center, The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, and the Mystic & Noank Library to name a few.
