About

Girls on the Run of Southeastern Connecticut is a council of Girls on the Run International and serves New London, Middlesex and Windham counties. Our council started with one group of 15 girls in Stonington in 2014 and we now serve nearly 350 girls per year at approximately 20 sites. Our council hosts a fall season and a spring season annually and at the end of season all of our girls participate in an End of Season 5K Celebration. This spring, we have 14 sites led by nearly 60 trained volunteer coaches and 244 girls participating. Our Spring 2024 sites include Colchester, Groton, Ledyard, Middletown, Mystic, New London, Norwich, Pawcatuck, Stonington and Uncasville.
