Location: Windie’s | 80 High Street, Westerly

Schedule: This role offers a flexible schedule with 10–15 hours per week during the off-season and the opportunity to increase to 25–30 hours per week during the summer and holiday seasons. 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by engaging authentically, building rapport, and creating a welcoming environment that reflects the Windie’s brand

• Provide friendly, elevated service using strong communication skills and expert product knowledge to connect with customers and drive sales.

• Accurately process sales transactions on Shopify, ensuring items are carefully packed to match Windie’s attention to detail and care.

• Assist with inventory management, including receiving new shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring back-of-house operations run smoothly.

• Handle customer inquiries in person, through social media, and via email with professionalism and enthusiasm, offering expert guidance and product recommendations.

• Monitor and fulfill e-commerce sales, packing online orders with precision and shipping them promptly.

• Occasionally monitor and engage with social media accounts by responding to comments, messages, and tags to maintain a strong and authentic online presence for Windie’s.

• Maintain the shop’s clean, organized, and visually appealing appearance by merchandising displays, restocking items, and performing light cleaning tasks (dusting, vacuuming, etc.).

• Assist with the execution of workshops and events, providing exceptional support to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for attendees and co-hosts.

• Collaborate closely with the owner and team to contribute ideas, streamline operations, and support growth initiatives as Windie’s continues to grow.
