PEARL provisions + tipples in Mystic is seeking a highly organized and dependable Bookkeeper/Manager to help manage our financial, receivables and operations. 


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is essential for smooth operation. 

Duties

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable. 
  • Generating comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and monthly profit and loss (P&L) reports, detailing fixed, labor, food, and beverage costs.
  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. 
  • Maintain general ledger by posting journal entries and balancing accounts. 
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements. 
  • Assist in budgeting processes and provide insights for financial planning. 
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation as needed. 

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel is essential. 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. 
  • Experience in financial report writing and analysis is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of budgeting, payroll processing, and tax regulations is highly desirable. 
  • Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and manage accounts receivable effectively.
