Hourly: 20-30 hours/week

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is looking for a detail-oriented and welcoming Office Administrative Assistant to help with daily operations and member engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and passionate about supporting the local business community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet walk-in visitors and respond to phone and email inquiries
  • Support Chamber staff with events, ribbon cuttings, and new member orientations
  • Maintain and update the event calendar
  • Manage the Chamber’s info inbox and redirect messages as needed
  • Learn and utilize Chamber software for daily operations
  • Input events and update business listings in the Go Mystic app and online directory
  • Prepare and mail monthly invoices
  • Call members 60+ days past due to assist with dues collection
  • Create flyers for upcoming events using Canva
  • Other tasks

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite and Canva
  • Customer service mindset and attention to detail
