About the Author: Neurodiverse (ASD) author Rowena Zahnrei grew up hiking Rhode Island’s nature trails with her father, a high school science teacher and naturalist. A devotee of Sherlock Holmes, Rowena has always enjoyed writing stories that combine her love of mysteries with her fascination for the natural world. Her stories and articles have appeared in publications ranging from Ranger Rick to The Baker Street Journal and her middle grade graphic novel trilogy The Adventures of Nicki and Ricky: Baffling Birds was featured in the July 2023 Kids and YA Content Creators Spotlight on Crowdfundr, where it reached its funding goal less than 12 hours after launching.
