Welcome to our event 'Introduction to Mushroom Foraging!' Join us on Wed Aug 21 2024 at 6:00 PM at Beer’d Garden in The Velvet Mill. Learn all about the wonderful world of mushrooms with Amy Demers, founder of the Connecticut Foraging Club, as she discusses the basics of foraging! We'll learn about different types including common edible and medicinal varieties found in CT and the best practices for harvesting them, safety and sustainability too!
