Mystic River Jam, at the beautiful Mystic Shipyard (100 Essex Street, Mystic, CT), is back on showcasing music from amazing bands - while supporting two great charities, Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center (pawcatuckneighborhoodcenter.org) and Sails Up 4 Cancer (su4c.org). Tickets: Fri. $25; Sat. $35, Weekend pass $50. PNC’s mission is to improve and enhance the quality of life of residents of all ages living within the communities we serve by providing basic human needs, social interaction and senior transportation to obtain medical care. SU4C is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research in the education, prevention, care, and cure for all types of cancer through the art and enjoyment of sailing. Come kick off summer solstice on the first night of River Jam, June 21 with the line up of The Pneumatics, The Troublemakers, Wooly Mammoth and Mystic Dead. Music is 4pm-10pm Come back on Saturday, 6/22 for a full day with The Subliminals, The Decker Bandits, Jeremiah Hazed, Glaucoma Suspect, Oblivious Fools and Mystic Dead . Music is 1-10pm.
