Matt Heaton & The Outside Toys with a Special Pre-Concert Story Time! Matt Heaton leads The Outside Toys, a crack team of versatile virtousi. With Emily Haviland Baker on fiddle, Jim Haggerty on bass, and Jared Seabrook on drums, the ‘Toys bring toddlerbilly to life. Outside Toys shows feature solid musicianship and lots of silly, engaging, unpredictable fun. As a special addition to the concert, we invite you to come early at 5:30 to hear story time inside La Grua Center courtesy of the Stonington Free Library. Bring your blanket or lawn chair! This concert is FREE. Please read the information below to understand what policies will be in place for the concert. Stonington Commons is a NON-SMOKING campus, inside and out. That includes the Green where concerts take place. Please do not smoke. Cancellations: If it looks like inclement weather on the day of the concert, we will make the call by noon and update our website event page accordingly. Parking: The North Lot at Stonington Commons at 32 Water Street will be available until it is full. Parking in Stonington Borough in the summer can be a challenge. Residents of Stonington Borough are encouraged to walk. Additional tips can be found here. Seating: We will open for seating at 5 p.m. Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets, as none will be provided.  No dogs are allowed on the Stonington Commons Green. Food and Drink: Please feel free to bring your own food, but not your own liquor. Trash cans will be available on the perimeter of the green for your use. Stonington Harbor Yacht Club will be providing a wine bar. Restrooms: Restrooms are available inside La Grua Center. Running Time: Each concert will last approximately one hour, with no intermission.
