The Friends of Fort Griswold will be commemorating the Battle of Groton Heights on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 6 pm, inside Fort Griswold. It is here that our brave men fought and died on September 6, 1781. Please join us inside the Fort to mourn the dead, and celebrate their legacy. This annual ceremony is free and open to the public. Bring a chair; rain cancels.
