About Thermography: Thermography, or Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI), is a non-invasive imaging technology that detects heat patterns on the skin’s surface, reflecting physiological changes such as inflammation, vascular activity, hormonal imbalances, and nerve issues. It involves no contact, radiation, or harmful emissions. Unlike structural tests like X-rays, mammograms, or MRIs, which detect tissue densities or abnormalities, thermography highlights functional changes in the body. Commonly used for breast imaging, it can identify early signs of issues like inflammation, fibrocystic disease, or vascular problems. Two scans, three months apart, establish a baseline for monitoring changes over time. Certified thermologists analyze the results, considering medical history and other test findings. By detecting early changes, thermography supports prevention and timely intervention, empowering individuals to address health concerns proactively.
