Meet Tish Rabe, a noted author at the Rotary Club of Mystic meeting this coming Monday, September 11th beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Mystic Hilton located at 20 Coogan Boulevard. Tish Rabe is the bestselling author of over 170 books for children including 19 books in the Cat in the Hat's Learning Library series, as well as Sesame Street, Disney and many more. Her latest book is entitled, “Mystic by the Sea, is the Best Place to Be. She is a mom, stepmom, and grandmother and works tirelessly to get free books into the hands of kids so that every child can learn to read. Trained as a professional singer she has been named "The Singing Author" by her teacher fans because she SINGS to the students during her presentations. What’s more, she manages Tish Rabe Books, an independent children’s book company that partners with corporations and non-profit organizations to create books, songs, animations, and videos that make a positive difference. Tish divides her time between New York City and Mystic, Connecticut. Attendance is free and a pre-set lunch will be available to purchase for $20.
