Join us at the Beer’d taproom on Leap Day for a literary evening featuring a fusion of fiction, essays, poetry, and music on the theme of leaping. Together, we’ll take a leap of faith, leap into worlds of imagination, contemplate the wisdom of looking before you leap—or leaping before you look!—and engage in a poetic leapfrog of ideas. Celebrate the rhythmic cadence of the solar year with a collective leap into creativity and expression. Featuring readings by local authors Dana Campbell, Ery Caswell, and Lara Ehrlich, and visiting author Kisha Lewellyn Schlegel, and music by Sarah Bruno, Jessica Cerullo, and Bergin O’Malley. Bank Square Books will be on hand with books by the featured readers. Beer’d is locally owned and operated, independent craft brewery located in Eastern Connecticut and makes great beer—and offers nonalcoholic drinks!—for everyone.
