Description

No prior woodworking experience is required. 

Students will use the scroll saw to cut out several pumpkin outlines and a jack-o-lantern face of their choice. The finished product will be a multilayer tabletop jack-o-lantern ornament with a base and an LED candle for illumination of the design. The ornament will be bare wood and can be painted, stained, clear coated or left bare for display. The class is appropriate for woodshop novices. All materials provided. 

Members-Scroll saw certification is available for members who demonstrate safe use of the tool.

Making them more affordable to our membership. This class takes place at Spark Makerspace at 7 Union Street, New London, CT. Class Fee is non-refundable. Please plan accordingly. Please note that this class may not run if it does not meet minimum enrollment. If this happens, you will be contacted 5 days ahead of time.
