Crochet for Beginners

Description
Bill Memorial Library will hold a two-session crochet class for beginners on Thursdays, October 12 and November 9, at 6 PM. The first class will cover basic crochet stitches and how to use multiple yarn colors to create a granny square. The second class will focus on joining together the squares and weaving in the ends to make a larger piece. Hooks and yarn will be provided, as well as specifications for those who wish to purchase their own materials before of the program. Taught by staff member and fiber arts enthusiast, Alex Ellis, the class is open to ages 11 and up. No experience necessary! This in-person program is free, but registration is required.
