Description

Celebrate National Poetry Month this April 29th from 7:00 PM to 8:30PM at the Mystic & Noank Library. The evening will feature local poets reading their own work, and local readers reading a favorite poem. 

We will start off with MNL’s own resident poet, Philip Kuepper, who will read his poem, The Minefield of the Imagination. Gail Turgeon will read her own works, Mixology, German Stock, and Good Grief. Poets Colin Goedecke, Ery Caswell, and Lyd Currey will also read their own poems. Bruce Jones of the Groton Town Council will read The Cremation of Sam McGee by Robert Service, and Kevin Booker of Booker Enterprises will choose a favorite poem to read. Chris Bradley will read Putting on the Garment of Water and Light by Philip Kuepper. Philip will close the evening with his poem, A Flowering Spring.
