GMCC is pleased to shine a spotlight on Terri Isenburg, from Full Power Radio, in our “Community Proud” series
The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is pleased to shine a spotlight on Terri Isenburg, from Full Power Radio, in our “Community Proud” series, sponsored by Charter Oak Credit Union.
For Terri Isenburg, business has always been about more than making a sale. It is about listening, building trust, and helping people succeed.
A relationship-driven sales professional, Terri has spent her career developing creative media and marketing solutions for businesses. She has lived in Southeastern Connecticut for more than 30 years, raising her family and becoming deeply involved in the community through volunteer work, fundraising, school committees, and local organizations.
“I genuinely enjoy connecting people, supporting local businesses, and finding ways to make a positive impact wherever I can,” Terri said.
Her career began in television advertising sales with NBC and PAX TV. She later became a business owner, operating her own Kindermusik program in Gales Ferry for seven years. Terri also brought the program to students at Foxwoods Elementary School and children attending summer camps at Mohegan Sun.
After closing that chapter, she joined US Foods, where she gained experience in inside sales and developed a strong understanding of the foodservice industry. Today, Terri works as a Marketing Executive with Full Power Radio, partnering with local businesses to create marketing strategies that support their goals and help them grow.
Although her roles have changed over the years, her approach has remained consistent with sales and development.
“My career has evolved from selling advertising to becoming a trusted business consultant and strategic partner,” she said. “Every experience has strengthened my ability to listen, solve problems, and build relationships.”
Terri is most proud of the trust she has earned from her clients and the reputation she has built for being dependable, hardworking, and sincerely invested in the success of others.
For her, that trust begins with listening.
Terri takes the time to understand each client’s goals and challenges before recommending a plan. She believes the strongest professional relationships are built through honesty, consistency, communication, and following through on commitments.
“Being reliable, organized, and following through are qualities my clients and colleagues know they can count on,” she said. “It’s the long-term relationships that matter most.”
That same relationship-focused mindset guides Terri’s involvement in the community. Throughout the years, she has volunteered for school committees, organized fundraising events, supported local organizations, and participated in community initiatives.
“The opportunity to help others on a personal level is what keeps me rooted here,” she said. “There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing local businesses, schools, and organizations succeed because neighbors are willing to support one another.”
Terri has also enjoyed volunteering in the arts, which she sees as a meaningful way to bring people together while encouraging creativity throughout the region. Her connection to the arts began long before her volunteer work. Terri studied dance for 17 years, including ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance. She also performed in several theatrical productions.
Another experience that helped shape her was participating in the Disney College Program. During her semester with Disney, she worked at the company’s Casting Center and assisted people applying for careers throughout the Disney parks.
Those years in dance, theater, and the Disney College Program taught Terri the importance of confidence, communication, and creating memorable experiences for others. Those lessons continue to influence the way she works with clients and connects with the community today.
Terri has called Southeastern Connecticut home for more than three decades. Raising her children through the Ledyard school system gave her family the opportunity to form lasting friendships and participate in many local activities.
“Over the years, neighbors have become friends, and those connections have created a true sense of belonging,” she said. “It’s a beautiful place to be.”
Terri is inspired by positive, passionate people who genuinely want to make a difference. She gravitates toward those who support their communities, encourage others, and use their time and talents to make life better for the people around them.
“Their energy motivates me to continue growing personally and professionally while finding ways to help others along the way,” she said.
Since joining the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Terri has made it a priority to attend events, meet professionals from different industries, and learn more about the businesses and organizations that make the region special.
Being featured in the Chamber’s Community Proud series is an honor that Terri views as both personal encouragement and professional recognition.
“This recognition encourages me to continue building relationships, supporting local businesses, and becoming even more involved in the Chamber and the community,” she said.
When she is not working or volunteering, Terri is happiest outdoors. She enjoys swimming in the ocean, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, walking trails, gardening, and attending music festivals.
Spending time in nature gives her an opportunity to recharge and reconnect with the area she has called home for more than 30 years. Whether she is helping a client develop a marketing strategy, volunteering for a local organization, or introducing two people who may benefit from knowing each other, Terri continues to strengthen the community one relationship at a time.
