The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is proud to highlight Jeremy St. Louis as the latest nominee in the ‘Community Proud’ series, presented by CorePlus Federal Credit Union. This initiative shines a spotlight on individuals who embody the spirit of community through their commitment, philanthropy, and passion.

A lifelong resident of Mystic, Jeremy appreciates the unique charm of the town, from its close proximity to the ocean to the abundance of activities that span every season and age. Whether it’s a summer day at the beach or a fall outing to Clyde’s, Jeremy believes in appreciating the little things that make Mystic special. 

For over 20 years, Jeremy has worked at S&P Oyster, where his dedication and warm personality have not gone unnoticed. Recently, he was honored as a finalist for CT Server of the Year by the Connecticut Restaurant Association’s CRAZIES awards, a prestigious statewide recognition of excellence in hospitality. Voting for the CRAZIES is open until November 30th, with the winners announced on December 9th.

In addition to his work in the restaurant industry, Jeremy is also a real estate professional with William Raves and co-chairs Cocktails for Care, a fundraiser supporting cancer research and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. His commitment to giving back is a testament to his kind and compassionate nature.

Jeremy’s favorite aspect of working in the service industry is the people. He loves interacting with clients from all over the world and cherishes the camaraderie formed with his coworkers. Whether it’s guiding guests through the menu at S&P or helping someone find their dream home, Jeremy finds joy in providing service and creating memorable experiences.

When asked what inspires him, Jeremy said, "Passion. Whether it’s something big or small, if you do it with passion, it will be amazing." This philosophy drives him to continuously improve and make a difference in the lives of others. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys being an aquarium enthusiast, with several beautiful aquariums at home that bring him joy.
