Over five weeks, we'll explore the history of sports and games from across the ages—including volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and soccer, with a focus on the World Cup and the sport's international growth. Inspired by the maritime heritage around us, we'll trace how games traveled across oceans, connected cultures, and became beloved pastimes worldwide. Each class covers the history behind the sport, before we head outside to play. We hope you'll join us to discover the stories behind these pastimes and experience history where people, ideas, and traditions have crossed the seas for generations.
