Mystic ― Looking at the exterior of an old Connecticut National Guard armory building tucked away in a quiet, unassuming residential neighborhood in Mystic, it is hard to imagine that inside the 80-year-old brick walls of the building, a small group of highly educated and skilled locals are changing the cycling world with cutting edge technology and design.
“We focus on really being at the cutting edge of aerodynamic design as well as optimizing things like stiffness, reducing weight. We really want to make the fastest, most high-end product for the top cyclists,” said Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Harrison Macris last week.
The British professional cycling team INEOS Grenadiers will begin the Tour de France on Saturday riding exclusively on Princeton CarbonWorks wheels, and a host of professional riders around the world as well as riders competing in this summer’s Olympic Games also rely on the high-tech, high-performance carbon fiber wheels.
