Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut  is currently seeking volunteers for our events committee to support annual events as well as home dedications and campaign efforts. Events include: Annual Golf Tournament; Annual Volunteer & Donor Appreciation event; and, new for 2027, a Gala celebrating both HFHECT’s 40th and Habitat for Humanity Internationals 50th birthdays.

These events directly support the construction of affordable homeownership for our neighbors.

Volunteer Priorities:

· Identifying potential venues and partners for events

· Assisting in sponsorship identification

· Assistance with procurement of raffle and auction items

· Support promoting events in your community

· Attendance at monthly meeting (date/time/format TBD based on survey results)

· Event support and assistance with execution

Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must complete volunteer orientation and register through VolunteerUp

· Experience with events preferred but not required
