MMoA’s year of Migration culminates in an exhibition celebrating the historic artists who made the bold decision to uproot their lives and join the Mystic art colony. These artists took a risk in divorcing themselves from the major centers of commerce and patronage to pursue artistic careers in a small shipbuilding town and, in so doing, forged an artistic legacy that resonates in Mystic to this day.
