July 29th-31st, 9:30am - 12:30pm, $50 per day
Our Young Cooks & Farmers program brings children ages 6-11 to Yellow Farmhouse Education Center to experience sustainable farming and seasonal cooking. Children work with farmers and culinary educators to investigate and explore a regenerative farm, grow and harvest produce, and prepare farm fresh recipes.
Week Five - Snack Factory: Craft sweet and savory snacks from farm-fresh produce. Make crispy potato chips, gourmet popcorn, decadent energy balls, and creative crudités.
Proceeds benefit the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center, whose goal is to connect people to where their food comes from and make a local, sustainable food system accessible to all.
