Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced artist wanting to refine your skills, this class is designed to build your confidence and enhance your understanding of watercolor techniques. Starting with the basics of watercolor painting, we will study the principles of color theory, palette selection, mixing, blending, texturing and detailing. Working with still life and photo references, we will explore painting techniques for landscapes, portraits, water scenes, and shadows. Drawing skills will be integrated to accurately transfer your ideas onto paper before applying watercolor.
