Special Witness to A Genocide & the Aftermath of Colonialism

Description

The program will feature a viewing of the 30minute film titled “The Witness” followed by a

Q&A session with Pequot Museum, Mashantucket citizen, Joshua Carter and a panel of

Pequots who will take a detailed look at the 1637 massacre of the Pequot village and a

deep dive into the very real, very important history of this nation that would eventually

become the United States of America.
