Mission: Possible Watershed Family Scavenger Hunt/Art Project

Still Wondering if Mission: Possible is for you? FAQ: Who should participate? Everyone. You can choose your level of difficulty. When & Where do we start? Either on Friday 29th (9-11 check-in time) or Saturday 30th (9-10 check-in time), it's up to you. 

You can check-in at the Mashantucket Museum Group Entrance or at the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center on the Stonington side of the drawbridge.

When & Where do we finish? Everybody finishes at the Mashantucket Museum Classroom (group entrance) on Saturday before 2, in time to participate in a collective Watershed art project! What is an example of one of the Scavenger Hunt challenges? Fawn Pathway: What is the largest tree you can find? Use your arms to measure. Draw it in your Field Notebook or take a photo with you shaping your body like the tree. Deer Pathway: Locate an area that floods regularly. Take a selfie there. How often does it flood? Who is affected by it? What is the Art Project? Responding to prompt questions about your observations and the Watershed, you will collaborate to design or make sections of a large quilt/relationship map. What else is going on at the Museum? There will also be music, a traditional Tribal arts demo and participation, takeaway projects, learning opportunities, Games to teach about ecological relationships, and food! Free food! Why do we need to register NOW? So that we will have enough...of everything!! and save paper!! Register to participate in the Alliance for the Mystic River Watershed's fun way of meeting people and learning more about Our Watershed Family!! Prizes! Shared Art Projects! Relationship Maps!
