245th Anniversary Commemoration of the Battle of Groton Heights

The Friends of Fort Griswold commemorate the fallen from the Battle of Groton Heights, Sept. 6, 1781. Candles are extinguished as their names are read. Please join us at 6pm inside the Fort to mourn the dead, and celebrate their legacy.

Also participating is the Connecticut Line of the Connecticut Sons of The American Revolution Color Guard/Living History Unit and the Nutmeg Volunteer Junior Ancient Fife & Drum Corps.
