2023 Ballast Award Nomination Form

The Third Annual Ballast Awards will be presented to Mystic businesses representing all categories of membership within GMCC such as professional, retail, tourism, and services just to name a few. Those interested in nominating a business should Hit the REGISTRATION BUTTON to the right. GMCC will be accepting nominations for these awards now through Friday, October 27th. Nomination Criteria for Ballast Award: Acknowledging those business icons who have remained steadfast, making Mystic their own for 15 years or more. 

• Company must be in business in Mystic for 15 years or more
• Company must be a Mystic Chamber member in good standing
• Awards will include all categories of memberships including but not limited to professional, retail, service, tourism, etc.
• Please submit through this established nomination form up to 500 words answering this question: 

"Why do you believe this business deserves special recognition as a Ballast Award recipient?" 

• Nominations will be accepted through Friday, October 27th. 
• Decisions on the award recipients determined by members of the GMCC Board of Directors by Wednesday, November 8.
• Award winners will be notified by Friday, November 17.
