Sculpture in Mixed Media

Description

Taught by Carol Mann. In this class, students explore a variety of media to create mixed media sculptures, including polymer clay, fiber, paper, and materials durable enough for outdoor use. Through hands-on projects, students learn the fundamentals of combining different materials, discovering how each medium contributes to the final piece. We’ll also cover techniques for building armatures and selecting the right materials for supporting and shaping sculptures, based on the specific needs of each project.
