SAVE THE COUNTRY DOC! Benefit Concert

Thursday, June 6, 2024 (5:30 PM - 9:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

We are thrilled to announce a benefit concert for the Country Wellness Center and Better Together, CT. The show will be headline by Mystic Dead, New England’s premiere Grateful Dead tribute band, who will be taking the stage at 7:30pm. Open the show at 6pm will be The Roswell Strings, an acoustic ensemble who perform their own incredible material and a few unique arrangements of songs by such artists as The Dead and Prince; followed at 6:45 by nationally renowned singer-songwriter James Maple, performing his deeply soulful brand of heartfelt Americana. This event is being graciously hosted by the Jonathan Edwards Winery, located at 74 Chester Maine Road in North Stonington, CT 06359. Net proceeds for the concert will benefit the Country Wellness Center and Better Together CT, which were both severely impacted by the recent Medicare/United Healthcare ransomware attack. Since the attack, Dr. Stefana Pecher has struggled to keep the Country Wellness Center and Better Together afloat while still striving to provide care to her patients and the veterans and first responders she helps thru Better Together. This event is being generously co- sponsored by the Jonathan Edwards Winery, Power Posse Productions, Clean Restrooms, Inc, and by all of the musicians performing at the concert. Doors for the show are at 5:30pm and the concert is open to the general public. Tickets are $20 and are available at www.bettertogetherct.org.
