Boats, Harbors, and Seascapes

Description

Taught by Howard Park and Lisa Miceli Harbors and seascapes are quintessential New England subjects, offering rich visual interest as well as complex design challenges. Boats in motion, at moorings, along docks, or in shipyards introduce dynamic yet demanding compositional elements. This class focuses on methods for simplifying harbor scenes and seascapes, and on depicting the shape and movement of boats in a clear and convincing manner without reliance on excessive detail.
