2024 World Space Week: Gustav Holst's "The Planets"

Join us as we conclude World Space Week 2024 with a special musical performance of Gustav Holst’s The Planets, performed by an eight-piece chamber ensemble at the Museum’s Treworgy Planetarium. To accompany each movement of the suite, a series of famous historical images of each planet will be displayed on our dome, while the music immerses you in a most memorable voyage through our solar system. There will be TWO performances of 'The Planets' at the Planetarium: the first from 2:00-3:00 p.m., and the second from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Preregistration is required for this program as seating space is limited.
