Frank is the owner of Nail Time & Spa in Mystic and is known for his kind heart, hospitality, and natural leadership. Mystic is lucky to have him. He is not only skilled at manicures and pedicures, he is also an authentic nail artist whose detailed designs require patience, creativity, and serious talent. His eye for detail shows up in everything he does, from the care he gives each client to the way he runs his business.

Frank’s journey began in 2008 when he moved from China to the United States at 16 years old. He did not speak English when he arrived, but with the support of his cousins, friends, and high school teachers, he picked it up quickly and learned how to communicate with confidence. Entrepreneurship runs in his family, with many relatives who are first generation immigrants and successful restaurant owners. Frank always knew he wanted to start his own business too. With a laugh, he admits that he chose nails because he thought it might be an easier way to meet a girlfriend.

In 2014, Frank became a nail technician apprentice. At that time, it was rare to see a male nail tech, and he quickly became popular in the salon. He discovered how much he enjoyed the work, not only because he could deliver exactly what clients wanted, but because he genuinely loves conversation and connection. The more challenging the nail art, the more fun it is for him. When a client walks in with a detailed inspiration photo and leaves with nails that match it perfectly, Frank feels a real sense of accomplishment.

Frank also leans into his talent for marketing. He loves sharing his team’s work on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and sometimes steps in front of the camera himself to keep things fun and engaging. Those short videos and creative posts help set Nail Time & Spa Mystic apart and show off both the quality of the work and the upbeat personality behind the brand.

In 2024, Frank and his wife Vicky purchased Bliss Nails and transformed it into Nail Time & Spa Mystic. They are grateful to have found a home for their business in such a beautiful town and proud to be part of the Mystic community. Frank often shares how much the love and support from clients, neighbors, and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce have meant to his family. Word of mouth, referrals, and community connections have helped Nail Time & Spa Mystic feel like a natural fit in town.
