TETRA PAK PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP

Sunday, October 4, 2026 (9:30 AM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Laura LoTurco-Gorian

Tetra Pak Printmaking is a fun and creative introduction to both intaglio and relief printmaking. Using recycled Tetra Pak cartons, participants will transform an everyday material into a versatile printing plate by scoring, scratching, cutting, and embossing its foil surface. These techniques create textures and marks that hold ink like an intaglio plate, while the raised areas can be inked and printed as a relief image.

This workshop explores fundamental printmaking techniques using simple, accessible materials, many of which can be found at home. Through experimentation and hands-on printmaking, participants will create unique prints rich in texture, contrast, and personal expression.

All materials are supplied.

There is a $5 materials fee, payable to the instructor.

Participants are encouraged to bring a smock, baby wipes and lunch.
