DELAMAR COLLECTION CELEBRATES MULTIPLE 2026 TRAVEL AWARDS ACROSS NEW ENGLAND
SOUTHPORT, Conn. — October 6, 2026 — Delamar Collection is celebrating a series of prestigious travel honors this fall across its growing portfolio, with Delamar Mystic, Delamar Westport and The Exeter Inn receiving recognition from Condé Nast Traveler and Boston Magazine in their respective 2026 travel awards.
Most recently, Delamar Mystic and Delamar Westport were named among the Top 20 Hotels in New England in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, one of the travel industry’s most recognized reader-voted honors. The distinction is particularly significant for Delamar Collection, as Mystic and Westport are the brand’s two newest Delamar hotels, both having opened in 2025.
“To have Delamar Westport and Delamar Mystic, our two newest hotels, both recognized among the top hotels in the Northeast by Condé Nast Traveler readers is incredibly meaningful,” said Charles Mallory, Founder and CEO of Delamar Collection. “We set out to create properties that feel distinctly connected to their communities while delivering the highly personalized hospitality that defines Delamar. To see both hotels resonate with travelers so soon after opening is a tremendous honor and a testament to the extraordinary teams who bring these experiences to life every day. We are very proud to see Delamar continue to grow while remaining true to the sense of place, thoughtful design, and genuine hospitality that have shaped the brand from the beginning.”
The recognition follows additional honors announced in Boston Magazine’s October issue as part of its 2026 New England Travel Awards. Delamar Mystic was named Best New Hotel, further establishing the waterfront property as one of New England’s standout new hospitality destinations.
Located along the Mystic River, Delamar Mystic combines waterfront accommodations, distinctive design, personalized service and a strong connection to one of New England’s most celebrated coastal communities. Since opening in February 2025, the 31-room hotel has quickly earned regional and national attention, adding Boston Magazine’s Best New Hotel distinction to a growing list of accolades.
The Exeter Inn, which recently joined Delamar Collection, was also recognized by Boston Magazine as Best Inn in New Hampshire. The award comes as the historic Exeter property enters its next chapter under Delamar Collection. The inn will remain open throughout a phased renovation during the winter season, with its transformation expected to be completed by May 2027. The renovation will preserve the property’s historic New England character while introducing refreshed guestrooms, expanded suite offerings and thoughtfully reimagined spaces.
Together, the awards reflect a period of significant momentum for Delamar Collection as the hospitality group continues to expand throughout New England while strengthening its reputation for design, culinary experiences, personalized service and a distinctive sense of place.
The latest honors build upon an exceptional year of national and regional recognition for Delamar Collection. Delamar Greenwich Harbor was named to USA TODAY’s Top 10 Best Waterfront Hotels in the USA, while Delamar West Hartford was named to Travel + Leisure’s prestigious 2026 T+L 500. Delamar Mystic was also recognized by Travel + Leisure as one of the Top 10 Hotels in New England in the 2026 World’s Best Awards and was named Best New Hotel in Connecticut in Yankee Magazine’s 2026 Best of New England Awards. The Collection’s culinary program also earned recognition, with Dandelion at Delamar Westport named Best New Restaurant in Connecticut in Yankee Magazine’s 2026 Best of New England Awards and a 2026 finalist for Best New Restaurant by the Connecticut Restaurant & Hospitality Association. Adding to the Collection’s milestone year, Charles Mallory, Founder and CEO of Delamar Collection, was named the inaugural Hotelier of the Year by the Connecticut Restaurant & Hospitality Association, recognizing his leadership, longstanding contributions to Connecticut hospitality and continued investment in the state’s hotel industry. Together, these honors reflect Delamar Collection’s growing presence among New England’s most celebrated luxury hospitality brands.

BOUT DELAMAR COLLECTION Delamar Collection was founded in 2000 by Founder and CEO Charles Mallory. Following a successful career in shipping, Mr. Mallory pursued his lifelong passion for hospitality by opening Delamar Greenwich Harbor in 2002, bringing a world-class hotel and restaurant experience to his hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut. Since then, the brand has expanded thoughtfully across select destinations, each chosen for its distinctive character, whether set along the waterfront with sweeping views or nestled within vibrant town centers.
Today, the Delamar Collection includes Delamar Greenwich Harbor, home to the acclaimed l'escale restaurant (opened 2002); Delamar Southport, featuring Artisan Southport (2009); Delamar West Hartford, with Artisan West Hartford (2017); Delamar Traverse City, opened in Michigan in 2021 with breathtaking views of Grand Traverse Bay; and Delamar Mystic and Delamar Westport, which debuted in 2025. In March 2023, the collection expanded its presence in Fairfield County with the acquisition of the historic Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut. Set along the shores of Long Island Sound, the storied property underwent an extensive renovation in 2026, thoughtfully preserving its historic character while introducing newly designed guest rooms, suites, event spaces, and public areas. The Inn reopened in September 2026, beginning a new chapter for the beloved Westport landmark while honoring its longstanding place within the community.
In 2026, Delamar Collection also expanded into New Hampshire with the acquisition of the historic Exeter Inn, which is set to undergo a thoughtful renovation and reemerge as Delamar Exeter in 2027, ushering in a new era for one of the Seacoast's most beloved destinations.
