Abbott’s Lobster Opens Friday, May 3rd for its 77th Season
Noank, CT. May 3, 2024 – Abbott’s Lobster in the Rough, on the Mystic River at 117 Pearl Street in Noank, opens for its 77th season on Friday, May 3rd at 11:00 am. Media is invited to join us in celebrating the start of the season!
The annual ‘Great First Customer Race’ is on! In past years, customers have camped out and lined up in the early hours of the morning to receive bragging rights and the annual “first customer of the year” tee shirt! Abbott’s looks forward to another season serving their fresh-caught North Atlantic lobsters, unique “Noank style” clam chowder, and their famous hot lobster rolls.
Every year, food critics and travel writers across the nation feature this legendary seaside lobster shack. Publications such as Fodor’s Choice, The New York Times, Yankee Magazine, Esquire, New England Travel Guide, RoadFood, American Way, Phantom Gourmet, and Zagat, are just a few that have featured Abbott’s. In 2019, Abbott’s was featured on the popular television series “Man v. Food”.

May 24 through Labor Day, Monday September 2 || Open Daily, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
September 2 through Columbus Day Monday October 14 || Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday (& Columbus Day Monday) 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
