Description

Influenced by Velázquez, Rembrandt, Rubens, Matisse, and Picasso, among others, the Spanish artist Manolo Valdés creates paintings, monumental sculptures, etchings, and collages. Intriguing in their apparent simplicity, these two etchings, donated to MMoA by James Quinn, invite deep looking in the October 18 version of Looking at Art, a monthly series of gallery talk/discussions with MMoA Executive Director Susan Fisher, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
