‘Kick Butt’-Leg Day Workout – We Lift Heavy

Thursday: 10am-1115am

Saturday: 12pm-115pm 

On ‘Kick Butt’ Leg Day, class begins with a short warm-up followed by a circuit of exercises including battle ropes, ball slams, BOSU balances, and kettlebells, and then uses free weights and weight machines to focus on compound movements, which mimic real-life activities and improve functional strength, and isolation exercises which improve overall strength and muscle development. On Leg Day, we exercise the bodies’ lower half through compound movements such as deadlifts and lunges, and isolation exercises such as leg press, leg extensions, hamstring curls, and calf raises, among others. This is a women-only class open to all skill levels.
