Create a one-of-a-kind multimedia textile sketchbook in this hands-on workshop. Participants will explore the art of fabric marbleizing to create distinctive end covers for a journal while experimenting with color, pattern, and surface design. Using a combination of textile and mixed-media techniques, each participant will construct a fabric journal cover featuring a placket designed to hold a 5.5″ x 8.5″ sketchbook.

A sketchbook is included with the materials fee, though participants are welcome to bring a similarly sized journal of their choice. Participants will leave with a completed handmade sketchbook cover and a unique journal ready for sketching, writing, and creative exploration.
